A Massachusetts Wedding to Remember!

I love Massachusetts. I think the state is beautiful and I love visiting there as often as I can.  Margo had contacted me last year about shooting her wedding I had no problem saying "Yes!". Margo and Chris met on Match.com which is close to my heart since that is how I met my very wonderful husband. I met up with them in the fall for an awesome engagement shoot that produced some of my favorite images from last season. I can easily say that their wedding has produced some of my favorites from this year already! We started off by meeting the girls at the salon. Here are some of both mine and Kiley's favorite moments.
I shot Margo and Chris's wedding a day after my own birthday. She was thoughtful enough to give me a wonderful gift that was custom made for me in my company colors. I really love it. It was so sweet of her to think of me on HER special day! I have the best clients.
I was glad that Kiley was able to take the long road trip with me. Although I thought she might kill me when at the end of the night I announced I lost my car keys! I found them. I am sure she was relieved as was I. Here is some of the amazing groom coverage she was was able to capture.

I often look for props that I can work into the wedding that reflect the couple's personalities. I was shopping one day and came across these books. I snapped a picture on my cell and sent them to Margo asking if she liked them. She did and I did not leave the store without them. I love the 1940's and 50's and Margo reminds me of one of those glam pin up girls. The books were a great fit for the very fun couple.
The bridesmaid's accessories were great. Again, each one had a special meaning to each of the girls. Margo had them custom made as well.
The day was filled with fun and the people closest to the couple. Margo spent so much time on the details of the actual wedding, but this couple really knows that the important thing is the MARRIAGE.

Wishing Margo and Chris all the luck and love in the world. Something is telling me that they won't need it!

Fun with ilovekickboxing.com and Tara Costa....

When Michael Parrella called me about shooting Ilovekickboxing.com's new campaign featuring Tara Costa from "The Biggest Loser", I was flattered.  Of course, I jumped at the chance! Here are some quick shots from behind the scenes. It was a long day, but it was filled with laughter thanks to a great crew all around. Tara was a great choice for ilovekickboxing.com's new website launch. Make-up and hair were pure perfection thanks to Michelle Moylan Huber and Gina Marie. They will be getting plenty of calls from my brides in the future. Tara made the shoot easy. She can REALLY model.
Here is my shooting partner Kiley enjoying a break. She is fantastic and very well studied in studio work. I am glad we had time in our busy wedding schedule to do this shoot.
Here is Michelle Robie, who is executive director of Tara's Inspire Change Foundation. Check it out!
Thanks again to Michael Parrella for having us! Can't wait to see the new website.

More like Bonnie and Clyde to me......

I met Monique and Courtney through Oventz Planning. I have gotten to know Monique very well. She is very sweet and thoughtful. Monique and I are a perfect match because she was looking for a photographer who would get totally excited about her day. I am! I would have to say Monique and Courtney are REALLY the perfect match though.
We had a great time shooting and talking about weddings and all the other planning. We talked about how Monique and Courtney met. He asked her "what's your jersey?" as in "what's your name and number!" Monique probably forgot she told me about this on the "Getting To Know You Questionarre" I give out to my brides. When I brought it up, they started laughing hysterical.
Courtney is a real gentleman. Monique and Courtney always back each other up and are there for one another. They know whats important. They are not only ready for an awesome wedding, but a wonderful marriage.
Monique had written somewhere on facebook how she really could tell how much I loved what I do for a living. She is so right. I also care about the clients I have chosen and I feel so appreciative that they have chosen me!
A special thanks to Odessa and Danielle of Oventz for sending Monique and Courtney to me. I have been telling Kiley all about this couple and we just can not wait to shoot the wedding!
