Amanda and Chris......

What a great day it was for Amanda and Chris's wedding at the equally beautiful, Swan Club in Roslyn Long Island. (For any Bachelorette fans, this is where Ashley met JP for his hometown date!) I was referred to them by Carly and Dominic, who just had a very memorable wedding this past October! Both Amanda and Chris were finishing up vet school so Amanda booked me via email. We did get to meet when they were in town for a visit before the wedding. One of my dogs injured his ACL last Christmas and I appreciate the advice Amanda was able to give me. I usually don't play favorites, but I would have to say that out of all the weddings we did this year this was actually my favorite. It was just a very relaxed day. Amanda and Chris were such a pleasure to work with and so in love. We don't just care about wedding photography, we care our about our clients marriages too! It was just so nice to share in yet another couple's flawless day. Since Kiley and are are both so animal crazy in general, I guess its no surprise Amanda and Chris were a great match for us! Becca and Ara are married!

If you have been following the blog, you first met Becca and Ara during their awesome engagement shoot a few months back. I was so excited to see them again and really looking forward to the wedding. There was no disappointment let me tell you! Becca looked beautiful! Kiley and I started early at the hotel Becca and the girls were getting ready at. Lots of fun conversations were had as well as some awesome moments captured. Here are some of Kiley's and my favorite moments from the day.

We were also able to run by and see Ara getting ready. He looked great and very ready to get married to his long time love, Becca.

The ceremony was very romantic and had a more private feel to it. Kiley and I are very lucky to be able to see so many cultures and traditions at all our weddings. It is one of the many parts of my job that I love.

The reception was at the Swan Club in Roslyn Harbor, NY. Becca planned all the details for the decor with much thought. The tables were named after all the cities the couple had worked as DJs in. The Swan Club grounds are fantastic for pictures. We got there early spent some time getting all the more formal pictures done so the couple could enjoy cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing.
